Jane, whose family is from Currane, Achill, is an artist and graphic designer who worked in publishing and pre-press industries in Manchester, Leeds and London before moving "back to her roots" in 2000. She won "Desktop Publisher of the Year" in 1987. She now spends her time painting, designing web sites and looking after her husband, Alistair (the technical brains behind this site), dog and chickens.
Life on the west coast of Ireland has inspired her creativity. Perhaps this is unsurprising considering her house and view across Clew Bay:

On her blog, 'Blog from the bog,' she talks about her paintings, life in Currane and her other project, mylifelists.com. Some of Jane's videos can be seen on her blog, and she can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.
Jane is happy to create work by commission. Perhaps there is a particular view or landscape that you would like her to capture for you? You can contact Jane using this form.
